Toni Collette hails from Australia she made her name known through Muriel's Wedding. The mystery thriller The Sixth Sense brought her an even bigger spotlight. She then began acting instead of dancing. After graduation, Louisa enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University. There she was a drama student. But she didn't get the degree she wanted as she left after two classes to concentrate on acting. Family life Louisa was born into a household of four. Lida Wright, her mother was American as was Robert Henry Krause, her father was half Japanese. Her younger brother is named Nathaniel Krause who is a director in a movie company. In her spare time she likes to spend it with her family on trips to the forests or barbecues. She is really emotionally connected to her brother and she is even buying the house he lives in close proximity to so they can see each other more often. Louisa Krause's Career at the start of her career, she did not perform for money however she wanted to be noticed by some serious movie companies which was an effective strategy. Her professional career started by performing in theatres with a wide range of off Broadway productions. The most well-known ones that she was a part of was In a Dark Dark House and Les Liaisons Dangereuses both in 2007. Then, in the latter part of 2007 she started her acting career in the film industry with supporting roles in Babysitter and The Speed of Life.
