Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films typically in the horror or martial arts genre a roughly similar beat that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and an obsession with these films. The reviewer began her journey in the latter half of 2009, and when she gained some notoriety on the forums (under the old name Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. She was on the website until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts on the channel, both of which cover the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Her appearances during Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of awful films for kids or RiffTrax, but also the odd adult comedy. She began in late 2009 to write reviews of films and gained popularity in the Channel Awesome forums. She then became a part of the family of network movie critics. She has been on countless Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as and Phelous & the Movies. She was featured on numerous episodes of Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the family that Channel Awesome had together with Doug Walker.
