Bella Poarch is a Filipino born to biological Filipino parents. Her birth date was in February 9th, 1997. Her grandmother was brought up in the slums of Manila by her biological parents up to the age of 3. She was then adopted. Her adoptive father, a Filipina-American who has a military background is white and American. She says that her and her brother who was adopted as infants, were subject to abuse before they joined the military. After a short time in San Francisco, her family moved to Texas to help her father undergo a bypass procedure. Although the physical violence subsided but she says that she endured psychological abuse from her father at her home. Poarch joined the United States Navy when she turned 18. Poarch was the first to join TikTok in April of 2020 and quickly rose to fame. She amassed more than 40 millions fans in less that eight months. The account was home to a variety of videos, but her most popular hit was a music video featuring Millie B's viral song Soph Aspin Send. The clip that was zoomed, and showed her lip-syncing and jumping to the music in a rhythmic to the song, became all over the internet. Following her joining TikTok Poarch created her own YouTube account as well as a Twitter account to increase the fame of her. Poarch hit her highest point of fame in December 2020. According to reports that she was the subject of two professional Esports team's attention. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves were interested in her hiring as a creator of content under their respective brands.
